Mason Filippi is a 22-year-old race car driver. Currently driving the Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Veloster N TCR in IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge competing in TCR. He started at the age of 11 in karts moving to cars at the age of 14. From learning how to drive a car in the parking lot to winning his first championship, Mason has been a fast developing driver. His first full race season was 2015 where he won the Teen Mazda Challenge Championship, Pole and second place in NASA Western States Championship, Top 8 in the Mazda Road to 24, and was a driver in the winning car of E1 at the 2015 & 2016 NASA 25 hours of Thunderhill. The 2016 season had many lessons learned inside of the MX-5 Cup and TCA. Along with testing stock cars, Mason was able to experience many different racing and driving situations! 2017will included Pirelli World Challenge piloting a BMW M235ir finishing 5th in the points In TC with one win at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park with Tim Barber & TFB Performance. 2018 has been off to a great start running TCR in Pirelli World Challenge. The first half of the season running with TFB Performace Shmib.com VW, finishing off the season with Real-Time Racing Honda Civic TCR. In 2019 Mason Filippi Finished 2nd in IMSA Drivers Championship as well as 3rd in TC America while only competing in half of the events.
2020 Filippi will pilot the Bryan Herta Autosport #98 Hyundai TCR In IMSA alongside Michael Lewis.
