The Wait Is Over: P3 at Petit Le Mans
After a season spent chasing it, the No. 36 DXDT Racing Corvette Z06 GT3.R finally reaches the podium — a P3 finish in the 10 Hour at Petit Le Mans to close out the WeatherTech campaign.
We've been hunting for this all year.
Long Beach showed we had the pace to lead. The rest of the season showed how hard GTD is to finish clean. At Petit Le Mans — ten hours, the toughest multi-class race on the WeatherTech calendar, run deep into the dark at Road Atlanta — the No. 36 Corvette Z06 GT3.R finally put together a race with no asterisk on it.
P3. A trophy. The whole DXDT Racing crew on the box together after a season of near-misses.
It took patience from everyone — the team never changed the car or the approach, they just kept building toward this. A ten-hour race punishes anyone who forces it, and we didn't. We managed the car, managed the traffic, and let the result come to us instead of chasing it. That's how you finish a season like this.
This is exactly the way I wanted to send off this Corvette campaign. Thank you to Chevrolet, DXDT Racing, and everyone who stuck with this program through a season that tested all of us. We'll be back.
